TempTraq is a wireless, non-invasive, continuous body temperature monitoring patch used in the hospital or at home for remote monitoring of patients at risk of developing a fever.
The patch works by monitoring a patient’s temperature in real-time and transmitting data to a smart device via Bluetooth, alerting caregivers of temperature spikes enabling early intervention, all without disturbing the patient.
Made from a soft, natural, latex-free material, TempTraq is placed discreetly under the arm for patient comfort.
30.6 °C – 42.9 °C.
24 hours or 72 hours; disposable / single use.
Audible and / or visual notifications of rising temperature via applications.
Not made with natural rubber latex
To minimise skin irritations.
Bluetooth receiving device, low energy, patch must be within 12 metres of Bluetooth device to transmit data. Patch also stores data that can be downloaded when the patient is back in range.
Technical Clinical Integration
The TempTraq system can be seamlessly integrated into existing clinical workflow, increasing productivity by automatically capturing and entering temperature data into the Electronic Medical Records.
The TempTraq patch monitors a patient’s temperature in real-time and wirelessly uploads data via Bluetooth to a cloud server¹. Data from the secure server can be integrated with Electronic Medical Records, central clinical workstations, patient bedside monitors and mobile devices to provide clinicians with temperature data visualisation and data mapping to the desired patient record fields.
The system is scalable and can support a single hospital or a multi-location healthcare system.
